Week 17

This marks the first week of my 8 week phase to peak for race day! Adding some more speed in to the bikes and runs early in the week.

Also signed up for Escape to Miami olympic distance triathlon on September 23. I would have liked to race a half-iron instead but could not find any in Florida during late September.

Fri – 35:00 Swim, 35:00 Run

Sat – (AM) 5:30:00 Bike (PM) 20:00 Strength, 40:00 Run

Week 16

This was a much needed recovery week as I am getting ready to reload and finish off strong in the last 8 weeks until race day. I had no problem missing Thursday to do some more apartment stuff. I also had no problem doing less than the schedule had planned because my legs were really feeling it from the last few weeks.
