Week 15 – THE Week

It was a little tough to get back into the swing of things after trial last week. It’s funny how a change in routine can mess with your head in that regard. This week, I told myself there was no excuses and threw myself into the training. I came through strong and could not have been happier with my weekend. The marathon PACE run on Saturday felt great and I fought hard early Sunday morning to finish that long run with a bang.

There usually isn’t just one workout or even just one week that makes a training plan successful but if that were the case, this was THE week that I would point to. Of all the weeks in training for the Chicago marathon thus far, I am most proud of this one.
